I. JOB SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity for an energetic, talented and hard working IT Desktop Support Engineer. The role of the Desktop Support Engineer is to provide technical support both on site and remote for up to 14 office locations for our Mortgage Banking Operations.
II. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate must be responsible for providing technical support to the corporate office in addition to up to 14 offsite locations via telelphone, web or at the office location. Must be able to work independently in solving technical product issues and answering product configuration questions. Will be expected to develop solutions for desktop issues. Ideal candidate must be able to excel in a fast paced environment, to manage multiple customer issues and projects simultaneously, provide quick responses and meet deadlines accordingly. We are seeking an extremely self motivated individual with a proven track record in providing a high level of professionalism and knolwedge/skill in technical support.
- Experience with remote desktop support
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft desktop and server systems to include Windows, Windows Server, Exchange Servers
- Backup Technologies
- Remote Access technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Strong intrapersonal skills extremely important
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer services and project management skills
- 1-2 years or more technical support experience in data networks
- Experience with Encompass Banker a plus
- Experience with Mitel phone system programming a plus
