Management Team
Scott Simonich, President & CEO, possesses over 20 years experience in the lending industry. Scott has presided over the company's growth from inception, funding over $10B since 1994. Under Scott's leadership the company has become one of California's premiere mortgage lending organizations and is licensed in multiple states. Previously, Scott has held executive positions at the Bank of Walnut Creek & First Security Savings Bank and is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California.

Mario De Tomasi, CFO, has responsibility for upholding strong financial management, developing strategy and execution. Previously, he co-founded Eloan Equity Connect a wholesale mortgage lending operation. Mr. De Tomasi held the position of Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing at Clear Channel Communications, Senior Vice President Business Development at Eller Media Company, Vice President and General Sales Manager at General Electric Capital (GECC) and is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California.

Jeff Simonich, E.V.P. of Banking, has been in the lending industry for over 20 years and is responsible for Capital Markets at Bank of Commerce / Mortgage. Jeff was the co-founder of Eloan Equity Connect a wholesale mortgage lending operation funding over $500M annually. Mr. Simonich has consistently been one of California's top producing loan originators. Prior to joining BOCM, he was an Executive at Topa Thrift & Loan and held the position of Wholesale Account Executive at Burlingame Funding. Jeff is a graduate of University of California at Santa Barbara.

Jeff Peterson, VP Sales and Business Development, has over 10 years of lending experience. Jeff is responsible for the growth of our top line revenue, focusing on new branch affiliations, new loan officers and the continued development of our “originator-centric” company culture. Jeff’s track record of being a multi-year top producer for BOCM, serves well for the coaching and development of our loan officers and affiliate branches. Jeff’s other experience includes regional sales and management for ADP and a Managing Directorship at Vanquish Capital Group. Jeff holds a degree from the University of Nevada-Reno.

Jennifer Hanson, Vice President Administration & Human Resources, has over 16 years of experience focused primarily in the discipline of Human Relations. Jennifer's responsibilities include acting as a liaison managing relationships between the Corporate office and its 16 branch offices, creation of company policies and procedures, management of Human Resources to include hiring, administration of employee benefits and employment law. Jennifer holds a degree in Organizational Communications from the California State University, Chico.

Brian Riordan, Controller, has over twenty years of public and private industry accounting experience. His primary responsibilities include managing the accounting department servicing both the corporate office as well as the growing network of net branches. In addition, Brian's duties include financial reporting, cash management, pension administration, FHA compliance, and facilitating the annual external audit. Brian's past employment includes Georgia Pacific Corporation, Cemex USA, and various other financial management positions. Brian holds a degree from Saint Mary's College of California.

Ron Perkins, Partner, Ron has been in the industry for 18yrs, has funded 12 billion in banking volume since 1992. Ron has expertise in building out branch relationships throughout the country, including 37 multi-state operations. Ron has also served as President of his own mortgage bank for the last 12 years. Ron is a graduate of the University of San Francisco.
